you ever catch yourself taking the elevator instead of the stairs? That extra
little bit of stepping could make a big change in the long run. Just by

exercise that you don't necessarily notice is stimulation to your mind. If you
have ever gotten up early and went out and did something instead of lying
around the house all day, then you know what I am talking about. By getting out
and doing something that you enjoy, like going to the mall, or gardening, you
are exercising, and your not stuck in a gym somewhere. We so often take for
granted the ways of achieving the goal of good health. We hear it constantly
form doctors and the media, yet I continue to see us as an obese nation. Even
if you are going to be a couch potato, throw the remote away and get up to
change the channels manually when you need to. You could burn of you whole
dinner if you changed them as much as I do.
In addition to these examples
you will not only benefit from a good physique, but your stress level will
improve too. Research shows that daily stress and anxiety will trigger
headaches, and raise your blood pressure. It also affects your immune system,
making you more vulnerable to illness. By just calling a friend, or a parent on
the phone everyday you will reduce stress by getting the things that have been
bothering you off your chest. Another way to make you feel better inside and
out is laughter. You've heard your mother say before that it is the best
medicine, and she's not that far off. If you can look more at the humorous side
of life instead of the bad you will start to see a change in how you view your
life.
As you can see from these examples that it really doesn't take much of an effort to make changes in your own life. Spend just a couple minutes during the day strategizing how you can make these changes work around you and in a few weeks you should start to see a difference in the way you feel and look.
